These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Droppd.it ("we", "our", or "us"), including the app at app.droppd.it and associated services. By using Droppd.it you agree to these Terms.
Use of the service
Droppd.it is a map-based lost & found platform. You may use it to:
- Post photos and descriptions of items you have found.
- Search for items you have lost and contact finders.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Droppd.it. If you are under 18, use messaging and pickup coordination only with permission from a parent or guardian, and do not share sensitive personal information in chat.
Your content
You are responsible for all content you post. By posting you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display and distribute that content within the service. You must not post content that:
- Is illegal, harmful, obscene, or fraudulent.
- Infringes someone else's intellectual property.
- Contains personal information about others without their consent.
- Is spam, fake, or misleading.
Prohibited conduct
- Claiming items you know are not yours.
- Using the service to harass, stalk, or defraud other users.
- Attempting to circumvent our security or moderation systems.
- Creating multiple accounts to evade a ban.
Moderation
We use automated and human moderation to review content. We may remove any content or suspend any account that violates these Terms at our discretion, without notice.
Disclaimer of warranties
Droppd.it is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that lost items will be found or that claims are legitimate. We are not a party to any arrangement between finders and claimants.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Droppd.it is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to the loss of items, failed handoffs, or inaccurate location data. Use common sense and standard personal safety precautions when arranging item returns.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Denmark.
